For a long time I found it difficult to find the right WordPress theme to build uncomplicated sites for my small business clients.
Sure, with 5 years of WordPress experience I was able to hack other, expensive themes apart and after many hours of frustration I’d eventually get them to look ok.
One major problem kept recurring though. The themes looked great in the demos but by the time I removed the bits I didn’t need they always looked bland.
And sometimes I’d spend days tweaking those themes on a site that wasn’t even going to pay that much. After all, a website can only bring in a limited amount of new clients for a small company and they weren’t going to pay extortionate amounts that were way beyond their Return On Investment just to keep me in business.
I had to find another solution or I wasn’t going to make it.
