Join me as I celebrate and revisit some of the first Choose Your Own Adventure Books including The Mystery Of Chimney Rock by Edward Packard. These US treasures were among the very first gamebooks, which cast the reader as the hero and presented them with branching narratives.
So let’s take a look through a selection from the first 20 CYOA books and see how they stand up against our memories of them, eh? This might be the first gamebook review on this channel, but it won’t be the last, either. I’ve started a brand new playlist for future gamebook videos, oh yes…
Choose Your Own Adventure books are still very much an ongoing concern! Search for them:

understands pretty soon what’s going on as the news keeps coming about
the new murders. The game offers graphics rich in detail and also a
really nice voice over with the British English accent. As to the game
challenge level, it is not that low. You will have to carefully look
around to try and find all the clues to proceed.
game will have you follow the trail of the murderer. That will include
the interactive part, some hidden object scenes, and different puzzles
all mixed up with the bits and pieces of the story.
hidden object scenes are not very rare here in Mystery Murders – Jack
the Ripper. So the fans of that kind of puzzles will get enough of it
here. The mini-games are all skippable, but you might also enjoy solving
them. The interactive part will have you paying attention to all of the
details in order not to get stuck.
